14th place overall

This is a short story in which you as the player and the game itself are the main characters. Uncover the secret that it is hiding. Can you trust the game? What does it really want? And why is it telling you lies to hide it?

WATERCOLOR LOOK

All the sprites for the game were made digitally in Krita simulating the look of watercolor paintings.

AN ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK

The soundtrack for this game was made during the jam using SoundBrigde. You can listen to it here!

FIVE INTENSE MINUTES

A long story told in just five minutes. A short but intense experience resembling the way shortfilms tell a story, but with the advantages of an interactive media, which also takes an important role in the story itself.

How do I pass the door in the cave? I collected three puzzle pieces; is there a 4th one hidden somewhere?

Hello! Thanks for playing "Backwards".  To pass that section, get close to the door and click the puzzle pieces in the correct order. This is a jam game and unfortunately has some bugs, one of them is related to completing that puzzle. If you're still interested in playing, restarting might solve it. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Oh, I had completed the game earlier, before you commented this! Sorry if you said all this for nothing.

hey, great game.
How do you put a background when the game was loading in  the browser?

Hi, thanks for playing! In Projects Settings > Player > Splash Image > Background you'll find many options for customising this.

Awesome, thanks a lot.

I really enjoyed this. The music, sound effects, narrative, etc was pretty spot on. Good work!

Thank you for playing! I'm glad to see that you liked it.

Very nice atmosphere and soundtrack.
I like also the feedback of the dialogues, nice work! :)

Thank you for playing!
